Train Operations Managers

Train Operations Managers are responsible for the management of resources and situations within an assigned territory in the dispatching of trains and track equipment.

Candidates must: 

Be able to think logically; posses a positive attitude; be able to manage in a proactive manner as opposed to reactively; be able to manage objectively; possess short term and long term planning skills; be assertive while at the same time being patient; be able to remain calm under pressure; posses superior communication skills; be able to articulate instructions clearly and precisely; be able to manage different types of people with competing needs; be able to keep neat and accurate records; have experience using personal computer; be willing to work varying shifts on varying days; be capable of absorbing, retaining and applying numerous Federal regulations and company policies; be capable of passing intense, comprehensive training program on railroad procedures; pass pre-employment drug test and random drug and alcohol tests pursuant to Federal regulations and company policy.
