Uncommon Track Work
SACO, ME -- L to R: Tom Culleton, Track Foreman and Bob Walner, Surfacing Supervisor, help coordinate a track throw in Saco, Maine. Improvements made to the Common Street Bridge allowed the track to be moved from the bridge's westbound to its eastbound side. The total amount of track "thrown" was approximately ½ mile and took 16 hours to be moved.
